Freight Schedule
Cost, plus a fair fee.
That's the whole model.
Most replication vendors price by "monthly active rows" — a number designed to grow faster than your business does. We don't. You pay what it costs us to run your pipelines on AWS and GCP, passed through at cost, plus a transparent platform premium. Both line items appear on every invoice.
| Line item | Amount |
|---|---|
| Compute — sync workers (AWS)412 pipeline-hours | $96.40 |
| Storage — staging & logs (GCS)1.2 TB·month | $28.15 |
| Network egress — to your warehouse640 GB | $41.30 |
| Infrastructure at cost | $165.85 |
| PortPilot platform premium | $199.00 |
| Total | $364.85 |
Why we price this way
Incentives point the same way
When you pay for infrastructure at cost, we make money by running it efficiently — not by letting your row counts inflate. Every optimization we ship lowers your bill.
No pricing cliffs
Row-based pricing punishes success: one busy month and you're in a new tier. Our premium is flat, and infrastructure scales linearly with what you actually move.
Check our math
Every invoice itemizes compute hours, storage, and egress per pipeline. Compare it to public AWS/GCP rate cards any time — it's the same number.
Common questions
What exactly is the platform premium?
A flat monthly fee per workspace that covers the product: connector maintenance, monitoring, alerting, schema-drift handling, and support. Exact figures are on your quote — contact us and we'll put one together the same day.
How do I know the infrastructure number is honest?
Invoices itemize usage (pipeline-hours, GB stored, GB egressed) at the same rates AWS and GCP publish. You can recompute the total yourself from their public pricing pages.
What happens if a sync fails and retries?
Retries caused by our bugs or infrastructure are on us — they never appear on your invoice. You pay only for successful, useful work.
Is there a free way to evaluate?
Yes — new accounts get a trial period with infrastructure on the house, so you can see real invoice line items before paying anything. Open an account to start.
